Welcome to this newbie guide which will help you to become a player on the online game Rage of Vengeance, a Player
Kill MUD. Below you can find the basics that you need to start playing the MUD Rage of Vengeance. How to connect to
our MUD, how to create a player character and how to start your first leveling up.
Furthermore there is a newbie FAQ that will cover everything that you might want to know during your early playing
time. If you have additions to this FAQ, or feel that some topics are missing, please feel free to tell us, either by

Connecting to Rage of Vengeance |

To connect to our MUD you could use your telnet client available in most operating systems, or you
could use a specific MUD-client (for example Zmud/Cmud, Wintin or the MudMagic MUD client). You can connect to us by
using our address: rofv.nl and using port 5000. After you managed to connect to the MUD you will have
to create a character. The below links should help you along the way and enabling you to start your first leveling. |

Most of the other things will come to you in time. A lot depends on experience of the game. Just play it and you will learn massively. There will be
some tips and hints in this section later on, explaining things like chasing, pk tactics, load popping, xp etcetera. Until then you should rely on the
help given to you by other players and the help files. Make sure that you read HELP NEWBIE, HELP POLICY and HELP RULES. Those
